Today has been a bit of a travelling day as we bid farewell to our dear little house and the Sunshine Coast. For me back, to beautiful Sydney and Diana on to Melbourne.

We heard, last night, our kayaking/Dolphin trip which we hoped to squeeze in this morning had again been cancelled due to the rough seas, which was sad. So we had a relaxed morning walking along the beach to the village where we had a delicious cup of coffee and did just a tad more shopping. Back to pack and then all of a sudden Geoffrey was there to pick us up and drive us to the Sunshine Coast Airport about 20 minutes away. Not quite like Heathrow, but all very easy and we were soon on a plane heading south, down the coast.

As we flew into Sydney, I felt people who live here must get such a thrill seeing all they have on offer in this amazing city – stunning beaches, parks, endless sport arenas, opera house, city, beautiful bridges and just so much water – I love it!

Darling Amanda was there to meet me and we headed ‘home’ to see the dogs and have a good catch-up. She is such a fab gal, I have loved getting to know her.
