Saturday 19 November – Cala Luna, Tamarindo

I fear there may not be too much to report for the next few days as this is very much a R&R sort of place and we are doing just that! The hotel really is a little disappointing (I feel so sad for Tim, Emma and Lottie) – our little cottage is in the carpark and the beach in front of the hotel covered in coral so you cannot swim! The food is very mediocre and the breakfast to be honest, truly disgusting, however it was enhanced this morning by a family of howler monkeys who joined us and seemed to much enjoy watching us all taking pictures of them.

We had a lazy morning and then ventured along the beach for lunch and a wander around the town where a few purchases were made. It was then cocktails on the beach (love being with my brother!) where we were treated to the most spectacular sunset of pinks and blues – incredible.
